This wine is made to drink now and is a straight forward, fruit driven wine. It will improve with age and develop more complexity over 5 years.
Alcohol levels range from 11.5 to 13.0% depending on the year. Fermentation is in stainless steel tanks and temperature controlled to maximise fruit aromas. Some lees ageing takes place to build complexity.
The vines are just below cellar door, planted in 1977. They are usually ready to pick in the first week of March.
• Dry, fruit driven, unwooded, (fermented in stainless steel)
